Your donation largely supports needed
research projects that are being underwritten by the Foundation. We need your help to continue our
research. Our objective is to build an
endowment that will help support research regarding illnesses that continue
to threaten our quality of life. Our
current project is focused on supporting major college and university
research projects exploring the use of music as a therapeutic and
intervention protocol to healing.
Using music as an intervention protocol is producing encouraging and
positive results in the area of Alzheimer’s and Dementia. More than 4 million Americans have a
diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease or related disorders. Limitations and concerns related to the
traditional management of the diseases agitation (i.e., chemical and physical
restraints) have lead to research on alternative interventions for managing
agitation. Music intervention has had
the most research-based evidence related to its efficacy. If you would like to learn more on how
you could help support our Foundation
research through either outright donor gifts or investment gifts, please
contact our corporate office in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. Your contribution will help support this
very special group and allow for a continuing tribute to these wonderful and
well deserving Americans. Music Education Your dollars also help support the
underwriting of music education through concerts in public venues such as
benefit concerts performed in retirement communities and other non-profit
organizations. Donations from these concerts are used to further support our
