Michael Nelson is an accomplished pianist, entertainer, composer and recording artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He grew up on a farm near Vasa, Minnesota and under the encouragement of his classically trained piano mentor, he developed a true appreciation for acoustical instruments.
While attending Mankato State University he studied music theory and composition. However, after college he didn't pursue music immediately. Instead he became an entrepreneur and built his own business. His passion for music never left and in 1999 he started Vasa Valley Music.
Michael enjoys performing and entertaining audiences of all sizes. Today he tours and performs coast to coast.
